2.0L GSR build
Ive got some questions about my build but let me give you the specs of the build first. My GSR block is being sleeved and bored to a 2.0L and the compression is being raised to 11:1.Internals are being upgraded to JE pistons and Eagle rods. Also doing a stage 2 port and polish on the head with oversize ss valves and ITR cams. Upgrading mani to Skunk 2 and header to ITR. Clutchnet 6 puck,MSD 6al ignition, and walboro fuel pump as well. ***Will my stock ECU perform fine with the increase in displacement from 1.8 to 2.0L? I hope it will be fine because I am not ready to go the route of a Hondata yet. What do ya think. did a search but couldnt find specifics. Knowledgable feedack appreciated.
Sounds like you are spending money on the engine, why not do it right and get your fuel management system upgraded and tuned? Add adjustable cam gears to your mod list as well. The engine will run with the stock ecu, but it really won't be running anywhere near it's potential.
