Default ect sending unit?

hey guys i had a previous post concerning my b18 with b20 block idling a little high and bogging out with acceleration, its throwing a coolant sensor code. i think i found the problem but havent done it due to rain where i am. i did some researched and notice my ect sending unit has not been wired up i think this will solve the problem but id like 2nd opinions. please lol trying to get my crx back on the road.

If it's not wired up and have the code it's a no brainier, repair the wiring and clear the code.

yea i know but im hoping it fixes the bogging issue and its still pouring rain here.

Start by fixing what is obviously wrong and go from there. That's how troubleshooting works.
