Default 96 Accord, drivetrain whirring noise

Hello all, lurker for a while now but have new issue I have not had luck investigating on my own so need help please.

1996 Accord LX, automatic 4 cyl
Possibly important: I replaced both CV axles last year with aftermarkets, has original transmission

The last month I have heard a strange whirring noise caused by something rotating. I only heard it when coasting at high speed originally, but now am starting to hear it over the engine noise.

I have isolated it to the drivetrain/wheels
1) it is independent of engine revs
2) happens in neutral as well
3) only audible within the passenger compartment, had it up on jack stands yesterday and neighbor accelerated for me, could not hear it but he heard it inside
4) pitch changes as car slows down (getting lower) which tells me it is transmission or wheels
5) from driver position, sounds like it is coming from glove box
6) when touching the brake pedal just barely but not enough to actually slow the car, the noise gets MUCH quieter, still there but definitely changes
7) transmission fluid is full and has been

I have looked at the wheel assembly and everything still looks tight and sealed up, but can't swear to having investigated everything I should have. I am still pretty new at this so definitely open to suggestions. What do you all think? Thank you.

Jack the front up again and put tranny in neutral. Turn the tires slowly by hand and I'll bet you feel roughness in the bearings

Thank you toker, I will check that. Assuming that is what I feel, what does that mean? Transmission, bad CV joint, just not sure which bearings you are talking about? (sorry, still pleading relatively new on this)

Wheel bearings ..its easier to narrow down which side by removing the wheels and turning each wheel with your hand. The rougher turning is the bad wheel bearing.

However they are not easy to replace for a new diy-er.

Wanted to pop in and say thank you, yes, it was the passenger wheel bearing. And did it myself with father in law, plus a trip to Budget Brakes to get the bearing pressed out and replacement pressed in.

Thank you gentlemen, much appreciated. And apologies for the break, but holidays got in the way
