good price for brake 'upgrade'?
my pads and rotors are worn, I've got a bad wheel bearing and a bent LCA, and I finally have some extra cash to fix everything...sorta.
So I asked Larry at 'Import Auto Salvage' how much for Integra brakes front and rear and he quoted me $475 for "everything I need to upgrade my civic brakes to integra specs, including master cylinder and prop valve..."
does this sound reasonable?
Thanks

well, just the front "knuckle swap" should only cost about $150-200.
Fronts do 90% of the work.
Stock 93 DX rear drums, (shoes are original!) PP valve, 15/16" MC, Teggy fronts.

you can really just upgrade the front to GSR spec (knuckle swap) an dthen later down the road go to a fastbrakes type of setup using ITR calipers over 93-96 Prelude VTEC rotors on those same GSR knuckles.
hell yea..i jus might have to do that..now does that include all the parts to do the rear and front disc brake conversion??
I was just going to do the fronts, but I have a bent LCA in the back ( from a lil accident) and it's messing up my camber bad so I figure I might as well upgrade the rear while I'm at it.
...yeah and thats why I'm goin with Larry, I hear alot of good things about him.
