88 Civic LX - Setting idle
I want to set the idle on my civic but I was unsure of what the RPM should be.
Some people say 800, auto zone says 575 to 650, Service Manual says 750.
Also is that the idle with IACV disconnected or connected? Because it goes up when I connect IACV.
Is this correct procedure? Some say jumper service connector, others don't mention it.
1) Disconnect IACV from wire harness
2) put jumper in connecter by PS reservoir.
3) adjust idle screw so that idle is around 750 rpms
4) turn off car, disconnect battery for 10 seconds. reconnect everything, take jumper out.

FSM says 650 plus or minus 50 with IACV disconnected. 750 plus or minus 50 with it connected.
I guess I answered my own questions.
