Currently running 205/70/15

& understand that 215 will fit, but I can get some almost new 225/70/15's for free & wonder will they fit?

I bought this thing for some minor off roading & driving through winter conditions .

So my plan is to give it somewhat of an off road stance.

Maybe if need be a minimal lift to fit slightly bigger tires, but almost prefer not to.

It's 99% of the time gonna be a daily driver/grocery getter.

I'd be happy with some aggressive looking all terrains & maybe a couple of cheapy lights & maybe a roof basket vs the roof bars we have on it now.

Oh I should mention I don't wanna start getting all fancy with wheel spacers & stuff like that.

I want to keep it very minimal.

Should 215/75/15 fit the stock unlifted with factory wheels?

I found that both BF Goodrich A/T & General Grabber A/T come in this size.

 

 

Its 99% a Grocery Getter dude!

But I'm likely to take trips to Pismo & such & would like a bit more clearance & more aggressive tires when I due hit those 1% trips & next month we are going into snow country, there it might help as well.

 

Well I read on one of these forums that 215 are the biggest that will fit a stock CRV.

But I just installed a set of 225/70/15 tires & they fit perfect & look much better in the wheel openings. :thumb up:

Nice. Did you notice any power loss with the new bigger tires?

 

Not at all!
Yet right away I noticed the car felt slightly taller.
Its only about an inch but I noticed.

It also looks so much better in my opinion.
