We race a 1999 4 door Accord DX in the Chumpcar series and use a Euro Spec Type R engine with stock suspension.

We're looking to upgrade shocks and springs over the winter.

I'd like to get suggestions on what springs and shocks others have used, where to buy that have helped stiffen the car and make it handle better.

I have the H&R coil overs. They're absolutely awesome on a dd. I would suggest avoiding them for hardcore track racing. May be a little soft than you're looking for unless you really drop it low

 

and for the love of god do not use the oem shocks with aftermarket springs. The shocks wont hold up and the spring rate/dampening rate will be a mess.
