We have a 1999 Honda Accord that sometimes sputters when first started and then runs fine after a few seconds or so. Every few months it will not start at all, just turn over and over until you run the battery down if you keep trying. I don't know if this can have anything to do with it or not but I'm also having to replace the temp sensor in the thermostat housing as my cooling fans won't come on. I use the "paperclip jumper" across the switch terminals to determine that was the problem. This may not be related but thought I'd mention it in case it is related. Any advice would be appreciated or if I need to provide more info let me know.

Next time it doesnt want to start, check for spark, and fuel pressure.
At lwast tgen you can start narrowing down tge maybe its questions.
