Looking at a set of slightly used toda pistons. The rings seem to be hard to source out, I've emailed a few places and waiting for a reply. Does anyone know if piston rings from another company would work?

I would NEVER put used rings in a motor unless they are coming out of the block they were broke in on. Just asking for problems.

93egSleeper- to be clear, the pistons are used. I'm trying to source out replacement rings. I would never re-use rings. If I can use rings from another manufacturer (cp, wiseco, Mahle..ect.), it may make the search easier, but doubt it's possible.

 

My machinist loves the CP piston rings.
