Default Servicing Transmission in 2001 CR-V

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm a little confused. I was planning on draining and refilling my transmission and with the Haynes manual it looks fairly easy so I planned on doing this myself. But when I went to Autozone and asked the guy working there about it, he said that I would have to take the CR-V to the dealership where they would remove the transmission and completely drain, flush, and refill it. So is this true and do I need to take it to the dealership?

the guys at Autozone cant even point you to the transmission let alone give you advise.

Drain and refill as described in the manual. DO NOT FLUSH THE TRANSMISSION, only drain and refill

Get 3 qts of honda dw1 atf from the dealer. it's 8.15ish a quart. it's the only type you should use.
