i wanted to see if a b serries throttle body will fit on my d16y8 i know i i would have to bore out my intake manifold bu i want to know what the idea behind doing this is. i have seen it all over but i have no idea what it will do. please let me know.

 

It'll fit. Use a new gasket. What will it do? Possibly faster throttle response by a small increment, power increase VERY minimal if any.

Op buy my b series tb. These people dont know what theyre talking about. Itll increase hp by 6 to the wheels! Lol

 

What is the diameter of your OE throttlebody compared to the B series you are looking at purchasing?

AFAIK D16y8 is 56mm. A B16 t-body is the same, B18B, B18C GSR are all 60mm and ITR, H22A's are 62mm.

 

I think d series tbs are 56mm
