2000 Accord EX V6 Coupe with 206,000 miles

So my power steering hose sprung a leak. There are 2 pinholes in the high pressure hose coming off the top of the pump. I'd really like a cheap and easy solution to the issue, and have been coming up short.

What I've read so far that has me posting after my search:
1. Stop leak solutions work more for the seals, not for the actual plumbing.
2. Driving without the fluid will ruin the rack (What I would do, prior to knowing it will destroy the rack).
3. Getting the new hose in without removing the rear motor mount is a PIA. It's also not a cheap hose IMO.
4. Even if tape was wrapped tight enough to close the hole, the ramp up in pressure will find it's way out.

^Is this all true? Not replacing the hose really comes down to time right now (doing 80 hour weeks). If I can buy myself 2 more months I'll be in a much better position to do a permanent fix. Any other ideas?

 

You might try a section of heater hose or radiator hose about the same inside diameter as the outside diameter of the power steering hose. Slit the radiator hose lengthwise and rap it around the power steering hose. Use two stainless steel clamps, one on each side of the pin hole. Make certain the slit is opposite each pinhole. You might consider cleaning and degreasing the outside of the PS hose and applying rubber cement between the hoses before you attach the SS clamps. This might get you through for a few weeks.... months or it might be a huge waste of time.

honestly suck it up and get it replaced haha or get a junkyard line. The time you will spend figuring out a half *** method will be enough time to replace the whole thing

 

Yeah, it's called a "high-pressure" hose for a reason. I'm all for clever rigging, but I doubt you're going to stop this leak.
