Default Creaky Suspension

I have a 1997 Accord EX Wagon 2.2 VTEC. The front right suspension makes a metallic creaking noise (no popping noises yet). This happens when applying weight so the suspension travels up and down and also when turning the wheel from side to side, even when not driving. I can't seem to isolate exactly what part the noise is originating from. I was thinking it could be the lower ball joint. Any ideas on how to narrow down the possibilities or where to start?

Thanks

Either the lower ball joints or more likely the lower control arm bushings. You should just replace both if not already.

So it turned out to be the lower ball joint. While I was in there I noticed that both the tie rod and upper ball joint boots were torn and leaking so I replaced both of those as well. Thanks.
