Default 92 accord transmission problems

Didn't noticed till after I bought the car that when I switch it from park to reserve to neutral to drive that the car jerks every time and just today I was driving it and all of a sudden the speed didn't increase while I pushed the gas but the rpms went Hugh as if I was revving the engine I had to pull over and turn it off and back on and then it would work fine for a couple minutes, I might need to replace transmission but Idk much about cars so I don't know if there is a cha ce its another problem and if it is bad anyone selling a transmission?

TCMs are notorious for going bad on these things. Probably look into that first.

If the transmission has high mileage and never had the fluid changed the sump filter may becoming clogged with slurry and clutch material.
You can try using a cleaner(Sea Foam Trans Tune) and do a drain and refill.

If when pulling the magnetic drain plug on the trans it is full of material then the fluid has most likely not been changed in quite a while.

FWIW, there is no removable pan on the H4A(90-97 AT trans) the case needs to be removed to access the sump pickup filter.

Also do NOT flush the trans, this will damage or exacerbate the clogging problem. Drain only, refill with a pint of Trans Tune and ~2.5Qts of Dex III, allow to idle and shift through all the gears to charge each circuit. Drive long enough to go through all the gears 1-4 and Reverse. Drain, use Trans Tune again, and refill two more times.

Depending on how impacted the clutch material is, and how much there is, you may be able to extract the gunk from the sump via the above method and the trans will be fine.
