help what wrong with my 2001 integra GSR with skunk 2 cams
i got a 2001 integra GSR
intake and dual N1s
i just installed used skunk2 cams with cam gears at 0 degrees
my car bogs at 4500 rpm and i can feel the vtec kick in at 5500 or somthing close to that , i know vtec dont open at 4500 with the cams just the intake lobe is opening i think not sure but it bogs
then i installed the skunk 2 jumper harnness with a 95 computer gsr, it ran the same but felt really strong on somtimes , its still bogs what could cuase that
i dont know what stage cams they are but , i only know they are skunk2
i ran a 16.2 tiwce tonight , at 88 MPH , remeber full interior full sounds, on shitty nitto 450 tires, my reaction time was shitty , i never went to the tracks for 4 years , alittle rusty but going to get better ,
give me some info thanks

I had the same problem with my Jun cams. They need to flow. You need to get a JDM 4-1 header with a 2.5'' collector or any 4-1 with a 2.5'' collector. Difference is day and night. You also need to raise your vtec engagement point.
Dual N1's? lol
You said you installed your cam and cam gear. Did you install more than one cam and cam gear? Did you install an intake cam? Did you install an exhaust cam? What exactly did you do....?
I wouldn't be running something I didn't know anything about. Also, your car should be hitting vtec at the 4,500 area, and your secondaries open up around 5600..
I would take that cam/s out, and put it back to stock, or take it to have it adjusted and tuned properly ASAP.

An Apexi V-AFC or an ECU with a raised VTEC engagement rpm will solve your bogging problems.
Don't know what stage those cam(s) are is also dangerous because anything besides the stage ones required upgraded valve springs; I'd find out if I were you, but then again if I were you, I wouldn't put something I don't know about in a practically new car.

you need one of these to take the bog out. the vtec x-over has to be raised. there will be a significant differnce in power after just doing that.

you need to tune them... and it's bogging because a gsr vtec xover is at 4400 so it starts to bog and the secondaries open up at around 5400 so it pulls harder...a header will most likely help....
ah...
take it to the dyno and tune it. while you are at it, drop one of those N1's and have something cooked up that actually gives you power. plus, the weight you save from running one unit will also help.

i had the same problems with my skunk2 cams untill i raised my vtec to 5500, and my skunk2 intake manifold and dc header helped out even more.. You wont feel the potential of those cams untill you upgrade your header and intake manifold..
