During an accident, my son's car was hit in the passenger side. Down near the bottom of the bumper cover, there are two looms that meet. The looms and wires inside were severed and now i need to know how they go together. I have a red/white, blue/yellow, blue w/white hashes that all had matches so i have those done. However, i have 2 separate blue w red wires on each loom--does it matter which goes to which? I also have 3 black wires coming from one loom and only two black wires from the other. Should there be 3 from the other? How do these black go together?

Those black wires are probably grounds that all go together and attach to the chassis under the headlight.

 

1996 Accord 2.2 liter LX---does it matter which red blue to which red blue?

OK, it appears that the red/blues are for the high beams on the headlights so, it shouldn't make a difference. Blacks are grounds.

 

So do i just put all the blacks together?

I purchased the entire wiring harness from my 1997 Accord and it was about $85.00.

 

I was able to wire them back together and it works perfectly--whew.
