and to launch i dropped the clutch at 5k on street tires @18psi

 

First off, what track were you at in GA?
I have a 95 LS, Weighing in at 2550 with me in it, on 17" street tires, full pressure.
just left Reynolds and here's my best slip.

I launched hard at 2500 rpm, I like to let it spin just a lil, the feather the throttle to get traction. I have pulled a 2.0 60' this way. My Car is a 95 LS, I/H/T/E. Fuel System. Exedy street clutch and stock tranny.

 

i was at commerce. i was runing a toda flywheel and was having laucnhing probs all night. i gave up trying to get a good launch and just dropped it, and let thte LSD do the work

 

your 60' time sucks. get it down your times will improve.

 

89mph, thats a low mph. very little hp. you have too little air in the tires.

 

in savannah i go to this shitty 1/8 every now and then i hit 2.1 60foot times without boost... i dont think that track is right 1/8 times are high.

 

Your launch rpm is a little to high but i dont see you improving your ET much,id say your right inline for a 89mph trap.
