b16a maximum engine temp ?
Thermostat opens at 90c.
100c is the boiling temp of water (converts to 212f).
Average cooling fan switch kicks on at 191~197f (per Honda service manual for D-series, but probably the same for B16).
The engine takes a while to cool down, especially in warmer climates, so those engines will see 220f on occasion.
So really you are just going to be running about 15 degrees f hotter than normal.
You should be fine since you say only for 'a while'. Permanently or for a very long duration of driving it wouldn't be a great idea.
Water boils at 100c so make sure you are running 50/50 coolant mix. That raises the boiling point to about 129.5c
If you were hitting something like a constant 240f (115c) then there would likely start to become a problem.
