Default Main relay problems after fuel pump upgrade.

My friend had his fuel pump replaced with a BBK unit and now we have gone through 2 main relays, its on a 91 CRX Si w/B16. It will run and drive but it will act like the key is being turned on and off really fast or just plain die.

Any ideas??

Check the wiring on the pump itself, and also check the wiring harness that's located in the interior of the car, which leads to the pump. (the one just above gas tank, inside, underneath the plastic cargo trunk thing...)

It sounds like you've got a loose ground or something... It's most likely something to do with wiring.
