I recently notice that my brake lights for my 2000 honda civic si aren't working. When I turn on my headlights and turn signals the lights in the back work, its just when I step on the brake nothing happens. I had the same problem before and took it in the shop and they replace a wire and said it was burnt out, not sure which one. Any ideas? Don't want to take it back and cost more money.

 

Take it back to the shop that did the work. Make sure they find the short and the cause.
