In my accord that I just bought, I noticed that the ac nor the heater work, it blows air but at he same temperature for both settings and the radiator hoses are fine but the coolant liquid has turned brownish, so would I just need to flush it out or is there a further problem?

 

Is there any resistance in the temperature dial when you turn it ? The cable could be broke or it's possible a piece broke. You can manually adjust the heater valve in the engine bay to either be open or closed.

Pull the heater control **** off, flip it around and see if it is broken where it slides on the shaft. Very common problem.
