I have replaced alternator battery and check all connections..still shows not charging at battery..even checkex for shirts broken wires and still nothin vBulletin. ..when discounecting negative cable car dies..doez anyone know what I can check or replace next..old altornator had no out put..new one puts oyt 14 volts

 

battery positive connects to under-hood fuse box and starter
battery negative connects to frame and trans

i would suggest checking fuses, make sure negative terminal isnt loose. its possible since the old alternator was dead the old battery died too

 

Get a load test on the alternator ( Free at autozone and Oreily). Could be possible you got a lemon.
