94 Accord EX (auto)

Sometimes when I press on the gas pedal, I'll feel a split-second stick. I'll hear a metallic "ting!" sound after I go beyond the stick. It couldn't be more than a couple of millimeters to get beyond the stick.

It started after I replaced the axles, rotors, and brake pads.

Any idea what could cause this?

Pull the intake hose and open and close the throttle with your hand while keeping an eye on the butterfly plate and see if its binding. It could be gunked up with carbon or the spring could be acting up.
