If under-hood Fuse No. 32 (15A) is blowing when you turn on the headlight switch, there is probably a short in the Red/Blk power wire (a wire with red color insulation and a black stripe running through it) to any one of the following components:
Stereo radio/cassette player
Cigarette lighter illumination
Hazard warning switch
A/T gear position console light (A/T)
Clock
Passengers vanity mirror light (except USA DX)
Gauge assembly
Moonroof switch (if equipped)
Heater control panel
Glove box light
Dash light brightness controller (aka dimmer)
Left front parking light
Right front parking light
Left front side marker light
Right front side marker light
Left license light
Right license light
Left rear side marker light
Right rear side marker light
Left brake light/taillight
Right brake light/taillight
A short is an accidental connection of a wire to ground or to another wire.
Has there been anything that happened recently or in the past, like an accident or an aftermarket radio installed, etc.?

Electrical problems can be time consuming to locate. Sounds like a short. Check the wiring at the light bulb area. Other than that, working on any vehicle without a good repair manual is like working blind, especially if you dont know the vehicle well or have little experience. I would not hesitate to purchase the Helms manual for this vehicle. Price is reasonable, and the information invaluable. Of course you will still ask questions about things, even with the manual. But I wouldn't want to work on these vehicles without one.
