I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX 1.7ltr and i believe i am having some problem with my A/C pump making noises and possibly going out. I want to know if there is a belt i can get that will fit to only go around the alternator back to the engine? I want to by pass the A/C pump for now so it doesn't make a lot of noise or break the belt until i have time to fix the problem? Thanks for the help and i can answer anything you need.

Also i heard something about getting a belt for the DX model of my car without A/C, but it wasn't my exact car that i heard that for.

 

Some of the DX came without A/C so, yes there is a belt. It's called an A/C delete belt. They should know you're talking about at the auto parts store. If not, the dealer will know.
