Is there a way to increase the spring or tension on the door? Both front doors swing open so easy and are so easy to close that if you don't open it carefully it closes back on you, or if there is the least wind against it. It has the arm that goes into the door that should give resistance to closing but I have no idea if there's a way to improve it. 2004 Accord 4dr. Thanks.

 

I think you would have to buy a new door "checker" is what I think they call it. Even when new, they aren't strong enough IMO. I wish there were a way to tighten it, but I doubt it.

 

Ah, "door checker". Now that I have the right name I find lots of threads about how this wears out and how to replace it. Thanks.
