Sluggish, Awful Fuel Mileage..
Ive used the search, and some of the threads seem close to mine but not quite, or the OP never posted results..
2000 EX, 178XXX miles. Great shape.
I have done:
Valve Adjustment
Fuel filter
new injectors
plugs and wires
No weird running conditions, CEL or anything else. But it just seems really sluggish and the fuel economy seems really poor. like around 250-275 a tank. When i accelerate from a stop, it just feels like I'm driving into a headwind. Up at highway speeds, it seems fine. just takes forever getting there.
At first i kinda wrote it off, since my previous car was a 5 speed VW scirocco, and maybe i was just not used to the A/T, but I'm really wondering now.
Thanks in advance for any help. Have a great day.

I need to do both of those. I was looking in the Manual, and it looks like a PITA compared to what im used to. I assume if im just checking the timing, then i dont need to jumper anything, right?
If you're looking at mechanical timing just check the crank and cam marks. Setting ignition timing required you jump the little blue connector behind the glovebox.
CRVs have awful, awful automatic transmissions. Does it shift well?

Yeah it shifts ok, i think? nothing weird i suppose. Its only weird to me because i havent owned an AT for years. I occasionally notice it gets up to 4k before shifting into 4th though. What rpms should it shift at when going through the gears?
