Hi! So I just installed a new Yonaka catback exhaust on my 90 hatch and the mid pipe is rattling against the corner of the gas tank where it wraps around to meet the muffler pipe. Not a whole lot of movement to it either. Any suggestions are appreciated...

maybe try different rubber hangers. see if you can get it away from there.

other than that, weld in an extension to make it fit better

 

You probably have the midpipe in the wrong way...

Unbolt it and flip it around.

Already tried flipping it. It only bolts up one way because of the angle of the muffler flange. It was rattling the heat shield that runs under the mid pipe. I took the shield out, but it's still banging the corner of the gas tank. I'll try different hangers. If I can lower it a 1/2 inch I should be good. Plus I think my hangers are worn cuz it does a bit of swaying.
