Car giving 5 sensor codes
My car is giving 5 different sensor codes. TAC, EGR, MAP, TPS, AND TDC. I have no clue to what's going on. At the same time my D4 light is on which has my 92 accord in fail safe mode and won't allow the car to start. It only turns over really good but won't start up. I'm trying to figure out if something is triggering this. Could it be the ECM or the PCM? Pleeze help!!!!
Ok fellow honda lovers, I have a 92 honda accord that is giving me the blues. I get codes 3, 7, 8, 12, and 14 on the green D4 blinks. My check engine light is not on but the D4 is. My main relay is working because I do hear the fuel pump humming. When the green flashing D4 light is flashing the car will only turn over but not start up until the light goes off. Now the green D4 is in constant flash mode which is putting the car in fail safe mode and won't let the car start. I found the code sheet on our site (honda-tech) and it says 3-MAP, 7-TPS, 8-TDC, 12-EGR, and 14-TAC. I changed out my distributor last year and replaced my fuel pump about 6 months ago. This is puzzling me. I'm trying to figure out if something else could be triggering this many codes at once like the ECM,PCM or the TCM. Pleez help me, I stressing here!!!
even tho u said the main relay works i wont hurt to try a new one. if it doesnt fix it the return it. but it DOES control the fuel pump along with the ECU Fuel Injectors IACV and i think a few other things. in short the car wont start without main relay and multiple things might be affected.
on the bright side most D4/no start issues are fix with a main relay for good!

Why is your fix for almost everything the main relay......why?
And then a DIRECT question to you "Mr. 94 accord typeR" - explain how the main relay "controls" the injectors and the IACV....

My vote, if Mr. 94 accord typeR cannot answer these simple questions with facts.....

The ECU "controls" the fuel injectors and IAC valve via ground (-) signals.
The Main Relay does not control the fuel injectors and IAC valve; when the ignition is in RUN or START, battery power (+) energize the main relay, allowing the relay contacts to close to supply power (+) to the fuel injectors and IAC valve. So, essentially, when the ignition is in RUN or START, power (+) should already be on one side of the circuit of the injectors and IAC valve. But, the main relay does not control them. The ECU control how the injectors and IAC valve operate via the ground (-) side.
