Please be advised, I do not know much about how the lens should sound while zooming and autofocusing, I've never owned a lens that wasn't USM. Please review the video for condition and the way it sounds. In the video however, the sound was amplified a bit while on the table. The lens takes awesome pictures, and would be great in someone's kit.
