Hello, I have an EG5 with a K20A2 of unknown origin.

I hope that in this forum there are several holders of K20A2 so you can help me

I would like to retrieve information about this engine, origin and year of production.
So it would be easier to recover parts, etc ...

I would like to ask you if you can help by writing your engine serial code and year of your car (or engine if swapped)
So I can compare data and temporally situate my engine.
The code is located in the front of the engine, a bit on the right, below the intake connect with the manifold

Mine is K20A2 3004361

Also, it would be helpful to know if there is something on the internet that will help to retrieve the information I tried, but I have not found anything.
I sent an email to Honda, but I got no response.

I think my engine was mounted on European EP3, but I don't know the year.
Really, not so important, but, I think with some engine number associated with the year, I could figure out the year of manufacture of mine.

I hope there is some generous member of the forum available to give me its engine number.
I don't ask for the VIN number, but only the serial engine number.

"value" is based upon the market area that you're in and the condition of the engine. Not much more than that. whether or not it has a salvage or registered title, doesn't affect its value much based upon today's demand.

I doubt if anyone will give you a VIN number, period. Unless they are selling, it is considered "rude" to ask for it.

"value" is incorrect, I mean "engine number", I've corrected.

Engine serial number is not the VIN, Mine is K20A2 3004361, I think, it is not a sensitive data.

there used to be (on B series) a stamp on the head showing the manufacture date..

Look near the ports and see if you can find it.
