Default "Simple' clutch question...

ok, i have my zc running an hf flywheel, si clutch, hf pressure plate(the si's pressure plate would not fit, am i right?)
and of course the question is, what can i do when replacing the clutch kit. does anyboy sell the parts separately, or is there a special way that i can fit the si's pressure plate to the hf's flywheel. i tried when instaling it, but the holes wouldn't match the flywheels'. And i had read that the hf's flywheel is the lightest, so is there such a big difference. i still got the si's flywheel, so installing it when i do the whole kit won't be such a problem...

Any info. will be appreciated!
has anyone else done this?

yes you could get the pressure plate to fit, just take it to a machine shop.

as for the weight why dont you just weigh them and find out for yourself. if it was me id just get an aftermarket one. or lighten the si which would be more cost effective than getting the machining done on a hf wheel

derek

yeahh, the thing is since it was already in place(HF) i wasn't gonna take out to weight it, so i just did like i posted. it runs good, doesn't seem to be a problem...
i'll just keep the si's, when i get the whole kit i'll put it on.
i'll probably go with an Unorthodox fw next year
