Hi Guys

I am Building N/A high compression engine B16A with following setup :-

- Hondata s300 v3.
- Skunk2 Throttle 75mm
- Skunk2 camshaft tuner stage 3.
- Skunk2 Ultra Series Street Intake Manifold
- Sportech Springs, Retainers, and Valves ( flat dish).
- Walbro Fuel Pump
- RC injector 550cc.
- Golden Eagle Fuel Rail.
- fuel pressure regulator.
- Ported Polish Head.
- Comteic High Compression gasket two layers.
- Toda Oil Pump.
-CP Pistons 82mm.
- Oil Cooler Kit.

1- Is this good Setup for High compression ?
2- I am looking for the best map sensor to match my setup and Hondata s300 v3 ?

Thank you.

What is your compression going to be? Those cams may be a bit big still for a 1.6L. There are better choices available.

Do you know what the compression will be?

Skunk2 tuner 2, jun III's, Skunk 2 Pro 1's all come to mind right off the bat...but if you can get some compression numbers we can help some more.

Use
13+ CR if on e85
258/252 duration @0.050 cams
4-1 high rpm header

That makes no sense. Compression should be written as follows:

12:1
12.5:1
13:1
13.5:1

I would use CTR pistons in the B16. Compression would be right around 12:1.
If you have access to E85 you can up the compression like mentioned above. On pump gas i wouldn't get past 12:1 too much though.

Personally, if the car is street driven b-series and I intend to have it for more than a year or two, I wouldn't go past 11.5:1... absolute MAX. Gas currently sucks and it's only going to get worse.

Stratospheric compression ratios aren't the be-all-end-all to making power anyway. I feel like it's a bragging number that people like to throw around while bullshitting about how awesome their cars are and therefore tend to get hung up on.

- fuel pressure regulator. Not needed, but no BLOX, etc. if you get one anyways.

Thank you.
As stated, there are better options for the manifold/valvetrain/cams then what you listed too. Don't get so hung up on making an impressive parts list.

Thats alot fo work to put into a 1.6L engine..

Now If he did this to a B20 then he'd have a contender.

My .02: Sell the B16 short block to some B16 cheerleader and build a B20 block. No replacement for displacement!

I know 100% agree but it's hard to find b20 here.

Just in case you didnt know, when youre looking up pistons make sure to look under their specs for going into a b16. The same piston in a b18 will be 1.5cr pts higher than a b16 because of the stroke. (example gsr=12.5:1 b16=11:1). if they dont have them listed then put the specifications into this Honda B-Series Compression Calculator by ZealAutowerks

unless your a diehard b16 fan, i wouldn't sink money into it.
make sure you have access to good machinist + engine builder + tuner.... if not don't attempt the build.

if it were me, I would just do the following:
82mm cast pistons
stock rods with arp rod bolts
$ on nice ported head (stock size valves)
rocket motorsports dual valve springs
pro1, rocket, sk2 t2 cams
adj cam gear (aem, ge)
toda replica or smsp replica header
shelf IM..... You may need to try a few to see which one works better (i'd start off px manifold, i'm unsure if the s2 ultra street would do much better since this is a 1.6l motor)
evo 10 injectors, aem fpr stock rail, walbro 255 pump (if going e85)
evo 8-9 injectors (if on 92-93oct better, cheaper, newer than rc, bigger & newer than stock honda) stock fpr & rail, stock pump.
68mm tb
oem head gasket

Just be happy with 190-210whp

then just build the b16.

another option would be stroking the b16.
ls cranks are easy to find/ship and you could just spend extra money on custom rods with b16 spec pistons = )
