2001 DB8 (4 door) GSR for sale.
The car is rust free and is incredibly clean. It seems that all these california cars find their way to me...and this is one of them. I have gone above and beyond to do all the required maintenance with high end parts. This car has been very well cared for. It needs nothing except a new home...away from my storage garage.
I bought the car in 2010. Me and my girlfriend daily drove it for 2.5-3 years.
In 2013, I sold the car to a close friend of mine. He garage kept it and took very good care of it. He installed most of the mods (listed below). Unfortunately, he had to sell the car back to me 1.5 years later because he needed cash. This bring us to the present situation:
I've been selling off all the cars that I leave in storage. This one has to be the next one to go. I am selling because I would like CASH money.
I believe it had 120k miles when I bought it. It has 156k now.
EVERYTHING works. Ice cold AC. Hot heat. Power everything. Cruise control. Tinted sunroof.
The car is located in OSWEGO, IL. It can be located via www.google.com/maps.
The car must be picked up from OSWEGO IL.
If you are interested, please read the detailed ad below.
-2001 Integra GSR 4dr. (real, original DB8 chassis)
-Original and extremely clean B18C1. Look at the pictures (below) of the motor with the valve cover off. Then wipe the drool from your chin and buy the car.
-156K miles. Will run for a LOOOOOOONG time, trouble free.
-Super low mileage S4C USDM B16A2 trans--Nothing was wrong with the old trans...I just hate the gearing of the GSR trans. This is 100X better.
-No rust anywhere on the car. The car has NEVER been rusted. The chassis bolts are mostly shiny as well. This car was originally from Concord CA (have the original paperwork). The rear wheel wells and the entire rear under clip have been epoxy coated. The fender lips are truck bed epoxy coated and truck bed liner'd.
-The car has seen a total of 2 winters, IIRC.
-All body panels except rear bumper are original VIN tagged panels.
It is mostly stock. But does have some tasteful mods:
-JDM ITR 5 lug brake conversion with ITR rear LCA's.
-15 x 6.5 +30. Enkei RCG4 wheels. These are roll forged gravel rally wheels that are used on real race cars. These aren't some OZ knockoffs that you can buy from a tire store. 225/45/15 RS3 up front (have a little life left). 205/50/15 Dunlop Z2 in back (almost new).
-Custom made exhaust. Vibrant header with 2.5'' collector to 2.5'' high flow ceramic cat. 2.375'' piping. It's not loud. It sounds nice. It passes emissions.
-TEIN RA aluminum body coilovers. This is the high end line of track oriented coilovers from TEIN. 16 way damping adjustable. I believe they are EDFC compatible.
-Front and rear Skunk2 pro plus camber kit. Forged, low profile ball joints on the front arms, polyurethane bushings on the rear arms.
-Kenwood touch screen CD/DVD/MP3 player with bluetooth and nav capabilty (you'll need to buy the module). Also has a Sirius sattelite radio and antenna.
-F1 spec? racing seat in place of the stock driver seat. Rails are slideable. Rails are custom made and incredibly solid. They are made by modifying the factory rails...so the sliding action is super smooth. THE STOCK DRIVER SEAT IS INCLUDED. You'll need rails. The seat fits me with room to spare (5'11, 155ish LBS. 30-31 waist). If you're bigger than about a 36...this seat would probably be snug. Again...stock seat is in the trunk and it comes with the car.
I know that some people would like to buy a STOCK GSR. Well...if you want it back to stock, the conversion would be easy...and would also net you money back. You can MAKE money if you want to return it to stock.
All the mods (except the 5 lug) were done by my buddy when he had the car. His intention was to track the car. He did ONE time for 20 mins. And I took the car out for a few laps too. It is very well sorted and tons of fun to drive. This car has not, by any stretch, been abused.
Comes with 2 Acura keys and the original owner's manual.
Maintenance items:
-Genuine Honda T belt
-Genuine Honda Water pump
-Genuine Honda T belt tensioner and spring and bolt
-Genuine Honda cam/crank front seals
-Genuine Honda rear main seal
-Genuine Honda rear cam plug
-Genuine Honda coolant
-Genuine Honda valve cover gasket
-Exedy stock replacement clutch.
-NGK OE spec platinum plugs
-NGK spark plug wires
-Genuine Honda oil pan gasket.
All the above done in the range of 5-20k miles ago. All the above bought either at Majestic Honda or One6 motorsports. I don't think I have reciepts. I did the work myself. I took some pictures as evidence. My work is incredibly meticulous. I torque to spec. I use Honda greases, seals, and fluids. This car got a lot of love, I assure you.
-NGK primary O2 sensor
-sway bar links
(Those two have about 10 miles on them. I literally JUST put them on).
Needless to say...the car needs NOTHING. It has 0 CEL's. No leaks. No issues.
The only thing "wrong" with the car is that the trunk's side liners have been removed to allow easier access to the coilovers. My buddy is looking for them at his place. If he finds them, I'll edit the ad.
Please see the pictures below and contact me if you are interested in BUYING the car for cash. I am not interested in any trades at all.
Asking $5600 or R E A S O N A B L E offer. I don't have an answer for "what is the lowest you'll take", so please don't ask.
If you are interested in the car, please make a R E A S O N A B L E CASH offer.
Lowballers..please observe how much effort I put into the word R E A S O N A B L E

- Please remember that i am selling for cash. I am not interested in any trades at all.
