Default What am I Missing? b20v alt. belt

Like the title says, I have a b20v, comprised of a b20b block and b18c1 head.

I recently noticed that my alternator belt was in very poor condition, so I ordered a b20b belt.

I get it and it's significantly longer than my original belt. Same width/teeth however, likely 2-3" longer.

What variablespecially am I missing here? Could the alternator affect it? I would image it's a b20b. I'll post up pics of the alt soon.

Thank you

Take the old one and have them match it
