Icon2 Lowering Rd1

Hello.
Ive been told that the stock suspension from a 2001 Accord lowers a 99 CRV at least 2 inches. Any truth to that?

Hi, not sure if it works. I tried putting springs from a 99 accord and they're just way too big

People have done it. Even civic/teggys strut and shocks.
But my question is would it support the weight of the crv with those struts? And how bout the tire hitting the fanders during bump and dips?

I had the civic front springs with stock civic struts, it lowered it a good amount but i had an issue with rubbing. I was on 16" rsx wheels at the time. It only rubbed on one side, couldve been the shock or spring was very worn. I recently replaced the suspension with full coilovers from a 98-02 accord.

I'm planing on lowering my Rd1 as well. Atleast 2". Theres H&R spring but they go 1.5". So how much low can I expect from accord full coilover and any issues with rubbing? Would I also need camber kits?

Honestly a 2" drop does hardly anything to our cars. I dont have any rubbing issues and I'm running a 17x8 rim. Here's a picture of my car as it sits now. The front is maxxed, but the coilovers i have are known for not slamming cars. I want to go about another inch lower

Im running koni yellows for accord and it did lower it by atleast 4 inches using h&r springs ... I had to fabricate a spacer between the shocks and the fork to raise it up by an inch...

For the rears in running eclipse rear shocks but u have to make a sleeve because the mounting hole on eclipse shocks is way bigger than hondas.. Not only u have to do that , the height is almost stock height. You have to use a spring compressor for the rears because there is no way you can install the tophat without compressing the spring.. It made the ride very stiff also... Im done wt this set up andd ill order me a set of bilstein... Using ground control woulve been a different story but i love how the h&r rides..

Do yourself a favor and get the bilstein for crv and call it a day....
