k20 swap question ( subframe )

Hi,

My question is why i need to use an rsx/ep3 subframe and it is really necessary?

I searched a lot but coundn`t find any answer.

Because the engine layout is opposite that of the D17, you'll find that there are mounts on the subframe that are entirely different.

Sorry to insist but is impossible with the original subframe to make this swap?

Because where i live we don't have rsx or ep3 to get a subframe from.

Nothing is impossible... but it would prove to be very difficult, unless you had good fabrication skills or the money to pay someone with good fabrication skills.
