Limp mode? 93 delsol z6
USo I searched all over, messed with Honda acura for years up until about 06 then couldn't find the time new house family ect.. I've searched all over Google then remembered I joined ht years ago..
I cannot find any info with problems like mine 93 del sol si z6 was all stock when I took it in on trade to restore
Pulled the motor cause it was caked in oil to clean, do a stg 2 clutch masters clutch and various gaskets ect..
It sat about 6-8 months busy with family kids baseball ect..
So 2 weeks ago I finally got it all wrapped up odds ends ect, sounded great ran great shifted great no leaks. I drove it a mile down the road and was coasting down a hill in 2nd let out the clutch took it up to 4500rpm shifted to 3rd and bam it bogged way down cel came on oil light flickered some then stopped.. Wouldn't rev past 2500 rpm or go over 20 mph..
I've checked all the wires ect, next day I went to check the cel code and my cel wasn't on, my scan tool is obd2 so I tried jumping to count codes..
Unplug map sensor it dies, tps it seems the same ect.. I did pull a 02 sensor from a y8!header and hardware it cause the plug was missing but it don't seem like that would cause a issue, I unplugg 02 cel comes on.
I unhooked ecu and battery still same problems when I plugged them back in
Car starts up, two times I had to pump gas and it started had gas smell and lighter color smoke come from it..
Never had a car go into limp mode on me dunno where to start, check timing? Injectors fuel filter? Ect
Just can't find anyone with my same symptoms, everyone else in limp mode revs higher or it's just a cut out mine is horrible and barley runs..

Pulled spark plugs they was new, now the are caked In black soot just dry
Pulled cap off, some oil in the bottom rotor looked rusty
Pulled fuel line off filter turned key gas shot out fast so fuel pump is pushing good flow, fuel rail checked out fine
Put new plugs in gapped ect, unhooked ecu and battery for 20 minutes and nothing still runs like **** barely runs have to pump gas to get it running
Pulled out all 4 wires while running ran for a minute than finally died out, all 4 are getting spark
Sensor/bad distributor cap rotor ect..
Temp sensor wiring has been hacked or cut and re wired and 02 sensor was cut and plug tapped on..

Checked timing= good, compression 195/200 across the board..
Then I finally got a cel light YAY
Jumped it checked my flashes got 7 shorts so that is showing TPS
Guess I'll find a tps and switch it out

Pulled a TB from another z6 put it in was colder the other day it wouldn't start at all..
Dunno unless wiring is bad or ground isn't grounded good.. Timing looked good ect..
New spark plugs in it are already blk 2 cylinder are getting the plugs damp with what seems to be gas
Any ideas?
