Does all USDM engines have a green vin tag?

Default Does all USDM engines have a green vin tag?
I am about 2 buy this USDM 2001 B18C5 engine from this guy. When i asked him for the vin tag, he said that he got the engine "BRAND NEW" from an acura dealership, and that he said that he has the receipt. I just want to make sure that the engine isn't stolen before I buy it.

No. If it's from a dealer it will say red dot.

It's R DOT. ( replacement, department of transportation ) painted in red

Ha ha! I meant to say it will say R dot in red not red dot lol
