2014 Civic LX Catback Exhaust B Pipe Size Diameter
What is the recommended exhaust B pipe and catback exhaust size for top end power on a 1.8ltr 2014 Honda Civic LX CVT? I can't find any aftermarket examples. Thanks for any input.
What mods have you completed that would require larger bore exhaust? I/H/E? Port and polish? Hondata? Forced induction?
A price spec would help too.

BTW: I own a 2015 Honda Fit but I'm scaling modifications down from what works on a 2014 1.8ltr Honda Civic LX (CVT). If it works on a Civic, it should work on a Fit. So I'm patterning my build off what may already have been established as working on the Civic LX (Or even an Accord LX). I already have a 2.5" to 2.25" custom cat back exhaust. It's just the way I do things.
No price range! I just am trying to find out what exhaust diameter is optimum for high end horsepower (I'll compromise some low end, not concerned with low end torque). Looking for dyno plots or 1/4 mile time and trap speeds to support it. I'll keep looking but thanks for any feedback.
Below are some of the modifications I've had done. I'm not one to wait on an aftermarket.

If you go much larger than stock, you will lose some bottom end in the HP dept. 2.5"was what I put on my old '97 Civic EX sedan and it loved it. Much better than the stock 2".
You have a 2.5" already, run with that. Unless you plan on boosting the engine, 2.5" is about right to maintain back pressure yet improve out gas flow.

Thanks for the post and feedback. I'm looking specifically for information on the 2014 1.8ltr Civic LX platform though and what worked out to be good or the best exhaust diameter based off of tests. Just pretend I never said what I did about my car. It doesn't exist. I didn't want to put my car information here but had too based off of what you asked about my mods.
I'm testing all the modifications and continue to make changes until they are just right.
What 97emsedan suggested will work for you too as it's sort of a standard if you stay N/A.
You have a 1.8 SOHC so 2.5 would the biggest we would go...
Also you are trying to mod two different engines so not everything will work. (1.8 to 1.5)

The 2015 Fit is a 1.5ltr DOHC iVtec. Even still, please forget that I am modifying this vehicle. I didn't want to take this thread off course. I am looking to find out exactly what works on the 1.8ltr Earth Dreams 2014 Civic LX. I'll keep searching though but I appreciate the feedback.
