Default 1996 no start, mass air flow check engine light.

1996 civic cx, died while driving today, I was driving along at about 40mpg and I lost all acceleration tried to down shift that, that didn't work also trend off the power to the car while moving and started right back up and then died a few seconds later.
I have a check engine light for a mass air flow, but I have a spectra short ram intake, so correct me if I am wrong, but that means I don't have that sensor anyways...? Last time I had a check engine light for a MAF it was just a loose wire, do I thought nothing of it because I been busy with my 95' civic I wasn't worried about this one yet. Could it be related to a no start?
So back to the no start. The car cranks but doesn't turn over, after it sits for a few minutes it will start but dies about 10 seconds after starting. I can hear the fuel pump and I can smell gas sometimes. No blown fuses. The ignition coil is New the brand is MSD along with the distributor cap and rotor. Sparks, ICM, timing belt, water pump and ECU have all been changed this year. I am thinking alternator?

You must mean MAP sensor. Fix the code.

Ecu... Can't remember off the top of my head. Engine is d16y7. Sorry MAP sensor, but that wouldn't cause a no start like this would it?

It definitely could and would. Fix the code and then report back.

Tested the MAP sensor, it's fine. Tested the ICM looks like tags the culprit of the no start, but I have to get a replacement in before I can be sure. It's frustrating tho, the ICM is only like 2 months old. I can't get the code number again until I get it running to get it to autozone or something. I knew I should have wrote it down.
