Question about the Type R valve cover?

is the type r valve cover the same as the gs-r valve cover except for the color? if someone put a gs-r valve cover on a type r, would they lose any performance?

yea there the same its just for looks you wouldn't lose any performance...

Thas not true the valve cover is good for like 5 whp.

its good for about 2-3 WHP....

I painted mine blue...blue makng the air cooler, I gained 10whp!, lost the dyno sheet tho...

The JDM ITR valve cover is just slightly different besides the color in that instead of DOHC being bigger than VTEC, the VTEC is bigger than DOHC on the JDM version. Also, there's an "H" instead of "Honda Motoring Co." The American ITR valve cover is exactly the same as the GSR except for color.
