I just noticed that my 96 civic undercarriage is damaged and was patched with silicone. My seat is also low and moves around so I'm guessing that whatever holds the driver seat to the car has broke off and was caused the puncture. I added 1 picture of the best shot I could get its hard to Get a good. I have a metal plate to cover the "hole." Is there a permanent patch?

I'll take better pictures I'm going to crank it up and take off the plate but it's just basically if you seen a cracked up leather couch one that is olé that's how it looks like

Where abouts is that located on the floor?

Wire wheel it to get a better look at the damage and to prepare the surface for repairs.

Best repair method would probably be to weld it up, primer it and get some chassis spray on it.
