So tonight all of a sudden my car decided to not start. I have a pic attached of some sensors and wires near the starter that aren't hooked to anything in the swap. I just wanna know what they are and if the exposed wire touched the starter if the starter is fubar and I need a new one. Sparks did fly when I accidently let the wire touch a ground.
Did you do the swap and leave those wires there? Were you aware that you had uncovered wires mere millimeters from your alternator output wire and not do anything about it? If you answered yes to any of those two questions you got what you deserved...
If you were not aware, you should spend more time trying to figure out what else is fucked on you car. Apparently whoever worked on this car is a dipshit and should never be left to touch another car.
I would look at the main fuses in the fusebox. I wont help any more but that...
I didn't do the swap, and I just wasn't sure what the sensors were for since it's and obd1 block and ecu, and an obd2 head. The car has run perfectly fine for the past 8 months with only very minor issues. I just never noticed the exposed wires there in the pic. I have an appointment with a local Honda specialist in a week to do the head gasket, studs, valve cover, basically the whole 9 on it, I was just looking for help. What should I do with those 2 sensors if I don't need them?
When I tried to start it, the fuel pump primed, and everything was normal with the key in the ON position. When I turned it to start, it just flickered real fast, no cranking or anything, it's dark now so I will check the fuses in the morning, but does that sound like a blown fuse?
