Default F20b swap in a DC2?

Hey HT, I've been thinking of swapping out my GSR for an f20b. I've been trying to do some research but info isn't very clear. As far as the swap goes I'll be grabbing the motor and tranny, mount kit, axles, and obd2 to obd1 plus hondata.

Can anyone give me more information about the motor itself? I'm curious about when or if I have to replace internals would
I be able to source them from an h22?

Mods if my post doesn't seem to belong here please feel free to move it

hi, the head is same as h22 bar 1mm smaller inlet valves.

as for parts, your quite limited on the bottom end. bisimoto sells pistons and rods.

i personally am now installing a h22a7 crank and rods in my f20b, with 86mm bisi pistons.

I you're spending the money for axles, mounts etc. why not just go H2B?

As far as I know, I'll be using the same axles and mounts as if I were gonna go H2B. I'm planning to go with the T2W4 tranny as well instead of H2b

Was aiming for something slightly more different or uncommon as well.

X2. Since you are going to have to buy those swap parts just go that route and utilize your b series trans. You wont have to mock or cut holes for a shifter box. You can still use the f20b with the plate. They are cross compatible.

Being different and uncommon isn't always a good or cost effective idea. Believe me you'll be better off going h2b/f2b

Contact CR-1 Motorsports

They are big into supporting H2B and F2B

I've contemplated doing the opposite for a boost oriented H/F2B build using the F20B Crank and OEM rods in an H22A4 and having the H22 Mahle Gold series pistons to work between the moderate boost and FRM dilemma.....Would just have to have the rods machined enough to accept the wrist pins.....

Aim here is for a near squared Bore/Stroke (87x88) setup with decent R/S ratio as well for just over 2.0L (2092 cc)

I've been thinking of an F2b. I'll be comparing the gear ratios. I'm mainly considering the f20b straight swap for the LSD tranny. Doing an f2b and purchasing a LSD type r tranny would come out to about the same price I believe.

Bellhousing bolt patterns are the same, you should be able to use the h2b kit. You won't be able to use H22 block internals, but the head parts are the same

I'm doing my build in stages. First a head build, then after seeing what numbers I get with that, I want to have arias make me a set of high comp pistons and have carrillo make me a set of forged h beam rods. The issue with bisimotos pistons is they're low comp, to be used for boosted engines, so if you're going all motor you aren't spoiled for choice
