What is the blue piece called....it came with a aftermarket kit of some sort....how ever were doing a OEM fitted short shifter, but we dont have that flange looking thing that bolts into the actual linkage...any help or info on what this part is called so we can get one asap

I don't recall Honda ever making a shortshifter.....

 

its OEM style, which means you can use the stock linkage and everything. just the shifter its self is modified..

 

I had a short shifter for about 2 months then went back to OEM. Caused nothing but problems. Sold it to some kid who thought it was cool.

 

gotta get the good ones, i have a skunk 2 and i can bang gears like a champ.

 

I can bang gears like a champ on a stock dc2 non-oemstyle shifter.....same goes for the em1.

Regardless, you should just ask the seller for another piece and pay for it.

You can't tell that thats a non-oem part? Honda doesn't sell shiny blue engine/transmission related parts. So that part was specific to the shifter.

 

i think i know its not a OEM part because ive done bushing and linkage and shifter on my del sol, i want to know what the OEM part is, same function.
