Default zc transmission

Did the single cam zc tranny have the same gear ratio as the dohc?

I believe both zc engines shared the same tranny, but I could be wrong.

DOHC had different gearing, a bit tighter gear to gear, but shared the same final drive ratio as a DX.

Ok so that's where I'm getting confused, I have had the dohc ( bigger output shaft) tranny which had the closer ratio but have also had two what I believe to be the sohc tranny that seemed to have the same close ratio. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm not sure how reliable this site is, but it's the USDM parts look right.

What does the label or any markings on the case say? Then I can confirm what you have.
