2001 Honda CRV AWD - Misfire
I'm going to attempt to make a long story short. Replaced the cylinder head on my 2001 CRV. After installation, had 150 PSI +/- 5 PSI on each cylinder. The engine would start and run, but would die after running 15 minutes or so and then dies. DTCs code continues to show cylinder misfires. During the head replacement, new spark plugs and plug wires were install along with a new distributor cap and rotor. I've checked and cleaned everything I can think of related to the ignition system, but it hasn't helped
Could use some help trouble shooting this problem, I'm out of thoughts of what to check next.

The igniter (ignition control module) could be failing. The fuel pump could be cutting out as well after the fuel heats up. You need to do checks as soon as the car shuts off. Check for spark as that is easiest. Then either check fuel pressure or at least try to listen for fuel pump prime and main relay clicks. Doubtful it could be the main relay, but you never know. You need to do more checks on your end for a better diagnosis.
Your suggestion was spot on, as soon as it died and checked for spark and found none. Replaced the IGM and it's been running for about two hours. Your help is very much appreciated.

I have a 2001 Honda CRV with an intermittent misfire. Last spring the ignition module and coil were replaced then this fall the intermittent misfire begins. I have changed the distributor cap and rotor button. Where else should I look? There’s no rhyme or reason to this misfire and it does not throw a code, although I’m getting a PO 420 code, but I have recently replace a catalytic converter in both oxygen sensors. Any help is appreciated. Also plugs and plug wires have been replaced along with a fuel pump and fuel filter.
