Default running without a map sensor?

Hi, is it ok to drive witout a map sensor?
My car won't stay running if the map sensor is plug in?
I only have a spare 4bar map sensor to replace it,but it still dies when plugged in.

Any ideas? Thanks

I don't think your car would run very well without a MAP sensor. A 4 bar map sensor will not work at all. You would have to scale the voltage differently because the ECU is only set up for the stock MAP sensor voltage. Are you getting a Check Engine Light?

No check engine light, I just got two map sensor from the junkyard, but no difference. Will vaccum leak cause that issue.

Maybe plugging the wrong connector into the MAP?
What are the colors of your wires?

Sorry for the late respond. I got a new sensor, no check engine light, no cel, and the color of the wires are yellow/red,green/white and white? I also replace new vaccum hose.

Any other advice would be appreciated. Thank

Up and running, I forgot to reset the ecu after installing new map sensor. So it came down to a bad map sensor, thanks again
