I'm on a mission to take some weight out of my weekend/occasional road use crx. I've heard the front and rear supports are pretty heavy so I was wanting to swap them out for their ultra lightweight jdm counterparts. The only "jdm" light rear bumper support I've found is for the ef hatcback. Will this work under the usdm 1989 crx si rear cover?

HF ones are actually harder to come by and weigh a lot more than the jdm ones (at least by the look of it).
Ive heard of people running without a bumper support at all. Will it fit right without the support?

I def would not recommend running the car without bumper supports very dangerous. Not sure if jdm one will fit. But if you are going to spend money why not have something Fab'ed up? Will prob cost around the same but will def weight less and in my opinion could be stronger. Just an idea because I know jdm parts could cost an arm and leg.
